Tsonevo SFE occupies Kamchiyska maountain, part of the Eastern Balkans, and occupies the forest complexes of Shumen and Royak plateaus. The total area of the forestry is 20 844 hectare. The relief in the area is mainly hillside with distinctively defined ridges and plateau-like flat uplands. The difference in the above sea-level altitudes is from 42 to 561 meters.
