Dobrich SFE occupies the Eastern part of the Danube valley on the Dobrudzha plateau. The total area of the forestry is 17 864 hectare, including 7379 hectare of preserved and recreational forests. The terrain shapes are mainly high flat areas cut by dry valleys with slight slope to the North. The difference in the above sea-level altitudes is between 40 and 330 meters.
